| Estate Transfer, Remodelling and Refurbishment Glyntaff Farm Estate, Pontypridd |
The estate was transferred from a Local Authority to Cadarn Housing Group and Ainsley Gommon have been involved with masterplanning, tenant participation, new-build and refurbishment in eight phases over more than 10 years. The works comprised 98 new and 490 refurbished dwellings with comprehensive environmental improvements. Procurement of the last three phases has been through Partnering which includes the residents. The Partnering of these final three phases was Highly Commended by the National Council for Housing and Planning. The new-build houses won an RIBA Welsh Housing Design Award. |
