Abbey Hulton Bungalows, Stoke
for William Sutton Homes
Housing group Affinity Sutton is developing a total of 32 new bungalows at Abbey Hulton on behalf of group member William Sutton Homes.

William Sutton, which manages more than 400 homes at Abbey Hulton, will offer seven of the new bungalows for shared ownership, to help over-55s wanting to join the property ladder but unable to raise a full mortgage.  The remaining 25 homes will be let by William Sutton at affordable rents to those on the waiting list.

On 16 August 2007 local residents joined William Sutton Homes staff, including chief executive Neil McCall, local councillors Andrew Wragg, Ellie Walker and Albert Walker and representatives from Renew North Staffordshire and Thomas Vale Construction to celebrate the start of the work.  After visiting William Sutton’s recently refurbished community office at Greasley Road, the guests gathered at Taylor Road as a JCB dug the first piece of ground.

Julia Coulton, regional housing director for William Sutton Homes, said: “William Sutton is committed to working with local partners to help support the regeneration of Stoke on Trent".
