Santa Dash for local charities
Four Ainsley Gommon staff took part in the Liverpool Santa Dash on Sunday 3 December 2006.  The 5km race around the city helped to raise money for local charities, as up to 5,000 runners, all dressed as Father Christmas, took to the streets in a bid to retain the world record. ...read more

Octavia Hill Fundraising Event

Liverpool Quaker Meeting House Completed
The new Liverpool Quaker Meeting House for the Religious Society of Friends reached Practical Completion last week.
The new building is part of the Paradise Street Development Area which covers 42 acres in the heart of Liverpool city centre and will be completed in 2008, when Liverpool will be the European Capital of Culture.

Duke opens new Birkenhead Park Pavilion
The £1.2 million Visitor Centre, café and offices in Birkenhead's Grade 1 Listed Public Park was officially opened by the Duke of Gloucester.

Official Opening of Erw Groes
The official opening ceremony of Erw Groes took place on 10 February 2006, when Mrs Sandy Mewies, Welsh Assembly Member for Delyn, unveiled a plaque to mark the event.  Erw Groes is a prestigious new supported living unit, which has been developed in partnership by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association and Flintshire County Council.
The facility provides 16 units of high quality short term/emergency accommodation for homeless families and single people in a safe and secure environment.
