Llanfairfechan Fire Station opened by HRH Prince Charles

College Reception Building
Work is now complete on the new Reception Building at the Ellesmere Port Campus of West Cheshire College. The £1.3m project comprised the demolition of the existing building and construction of a new Reception, Learning Resource Centre, Refectory, Student Services and a new access road.

Rowing Club Refurbished
The Liverpool Victoria Rowing Club, Birkenhead has been refurbished to provide upgraded gymnasium, changing areas and bar/lounge with new windows overlooking the dockside. Improvements have been made to access for disabled people and a new lift and staircase provided.

Merseyside 21 Awards
'The Clock', a former street corner pub converted into a Community Centre for CDS Housing and Liverpool HAT, received two honours at the Merseyside 21 Awards 2003. Local residents were consulted on the design of the £195K project, which features balconies overlooking a new community garden.  The scheme won The Lord Winstanley Changing Places Award and The Jaguar Community Project of the Year
